Islam AIDelete your Islam AI account
You don't need an account to use most of Islam AI. If you created one (Sign in with Apple, Google or email), you can delete it and the data linked to it at any time, in the app or by email.
Delete it in the app
- Open Islam AI and tap the gear icon at the top right of the home screen to open Settings.
- On the account card at the top, tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out on this device.
Ask us by email
If you no longer have the app, email support@islam-app.co.uk with the subject "Delete my Islam AI account", from the email address you signed in with (or tell us that address, and whether you used Apple, Google or email sign-in). We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it's done.
What is deleted
- Your account: Apple or Google identifier, email address, display name, and for email accounts the password hash.
- All sign-in sessions on all your devices.
- Data synced to your account: lesson and review progress, saved tafsir, learner profile, Arabic tutor conversations, memory notes and preferences.
- Your PRO status as stored by us.
What is kept, and for how long
- Data on your phone (chat history, prayer log, bookmarks, settings) is not on our servers. It stays on your phone until you clear it or uninstall the app.
- Answers you reported are kept for up to 12 months for review, no longer linked to an account.
- Server logs and usage events are not linked to your name or account and are kept only as long as described in the privacy policy.
- Subscriptions: deleting your account does not cancel a PRO subscription. Cancel it first in your Google Play or App Store account. Purchase records held by Google, Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat) follow their own retention rules.
- We may keep information where the law requires it (for example records of a dispute).
